    I love working with young kids, specially with Kindergartners! Because sometimes it's kind of little bit uncomfortable when they are from home a young age and then they come to school and they see everybody speak in English. And then they see me speak their mother's language, they just stop by and they feel like - 'oh somebody that speaks the same language can be here.' And they talk to me and that makes me really joyful!

    The favorite part of the job right here is when I go to pick up the kids that are afraid of riding a bus, I get a chance to make them feel comfortable riding the bus and going to school.     I've been with Eden Prairie Schools for nearly 30 years, starting as an elementary teacher and high school coach—both roles I loved. Over time, new opportunities led me to my current position as Associate Principal of Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion, a role I've held for over 11 years. Supporting our students, staff, and families has been incredibly fulfilling, and I know this is where I’m meant to be.

    Eden Prairie is also home for my family. We moved here when I began working in the district, raised our children, and watched them graduate from EPHS ready for their own paths. My wife and I stay active in the schools and community, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I’m proud to be a part of Eden Prairie Schools and this amazing community.
