
How do I access my files via Home Folder?
Your home folder is a cloud based folder, managed by the district where you can store your files. Storing important documents on your home folder allows you to keep your files safe in the case that something happens to your device. Below are directions to access your home folder. You can access files in your Home Folder even if you do not have your device. Click here to for further instructions on how to access your files remotely.
Accessing Home Folder from Mac
Your home folder is located on your desktop. To access it:
- Double click on the Home$ folder
- Double click on the Firstname_Lastname folder
- Drag files into the folder
If you do not see your $home folder, click on the Network Mounts folder and follow the steps above.
Accessing Home Folder from PC
- Click on the Windows Start Menu and Select Computer
- Click on the Firstname_Lastname folder located under the Computer tab
- Drag files into the folder
